In march 2010 I had the chance to visit Bangladesh with members of the NGOs of Shanti, ASSB & Dipshika.
Bangladesh is one of the poorest countries in the world. Far too many people suffer from lack of clean water, medical care, education, unbalanced diet, oppression (especially women), and the aftermath of a dramatic enviromental pollution. Child labour is common in this overpopulated country - to name only the most urgent problems.
In addition to this Bangladesh is frequently plagued by earth-quakes, tsunamies & flooding.
